Weather permitting there will be an observing run at McDonald Park hosted by Elliott. Last run was cloudy at the start of the night but cleared off near midnight to give a fantastic night of astronomy. I think Elliott was all by himself! Show up before dark to get setup and meet! Mark McL.

Well the clouds did us in again last night. I did manage to bag M81/82 which was in a nice sucker hole. It was 20.9 on my Sky meter, not bad for an urban dark sky park. We had a nice turnout of scopes, and people, with about 70 inches of glass on site, very impressive! This was the first time i have heard music while observing out there, it was perfect for the setting, it gets my thumbs up! New position to create: music director! My thanks to the guys for opening up and dealing with the security, regarding park closure, nuff said! Mark McL.
