Weather permitting there will be an observing session! Gets dark enough by 11 to start. For those staying late, park inside the main gate, all others park outside. Bring bug juice! We have Jupiter early, and Mars later on to look at as well as most of the summer sky. Mark Mc.

And Saturn too, on the meridian near midnight.
And Vesta, very bright at magnitude 5.93. An easy hop from Xi OPH (the brighter star 2.5° below M9) and on the meridian just 49 minutes before Saturn.
Should be fun.
