Need someone who's going to the MSQ this year to haul the 20 inch up to the observing site. Anyone??? If not then I'll see about hauling it to my brother in-laws in Merritt then home again. Haul my 5th wheel up the day before the main event, go back down haul the scope up, take it back, haul the 5th wheel home, then go back up to Merritt to bring the scope home. Pheeewwww that's gonna be a chore. LOLOLOL
Anyone???

Disregard. I'll look after it myself. Just so happens we're having a family get together up in Merritt this weekend and my brother in law is helping me store our 5th wheel there for a couple of weeks. That'll allow me to haul the 20 inch up to the observing site. Run back down to Merritt and grab my trailer. Afterwards I'll run the trailer back down the hill to his place and haul the 5th wheel home. And then a few weeks later I'll go and get the scope.
Sheeeeeesh!! LOL WE'LL GET ER DONE!!!
Why you may ask? Well let me tell ya...when I saw M-51 that one night through the big scope I was utterly and I mean utterly blown away! I couldn't believe what I was seeing!!! The atmosphere was spot on and the scope was dialed right in. It's what I call a "HOLY CRAP!!" moment! Absolutely "AMAZING!"... So here's hoping the scope will do it again and again and again.

Glad it worked out Paul. The Helix would look great in it too... and NGC 253, M 81, Draco dwarf, central star in the Ring, 7331, Stephan's Quintet,........

Yeah so I've dropped off my 5th wheel up there...so it'll be an easy pull taking the scope up to the MSQ. Drop that off with Derek who'll be up there well a head of time. And then go fetch the living quarters for myself. Haul that home and then on some other weekend or when ever I'll go up and grab the scope to haul back down here.
Can't wait to see the awesome views this scope is going to provide. Once Mark shows up we'll collimate the scope with his cats eye gizmo and it should be a rockin good time. WOOT!
Just hope my knee doesn't cause me any issues...if it does I'll just have to put myself on RESET is all. But knowing you guy's there's enough of you around to pull it for me! My leg that is... LOLOL
