Viewing session has not been decided yet, due to getting a positive forecast and hopefully a host or two to volunteer. Stay tuned here, will post up Friday what our plans are. Mark McL.

The forecast from the Clear Sky Chart shows the clouds moving in around sunset. It gets worse as the night goes. No chance of a clear break. That and the dew point will most likely fog up any optics not heated. So, sadly we are NOT having a session tonight. Thanks to all that emailed me to ask this week, maybe next time! Mark McL.

While i wait for an update for Saturday nights observing run, weather permitting, here is a new heads up! We have a bear or two at the park. This means no food or even lots of perfume. This time of year we all know that bears are out to get the last snack they can before the big sleep. NO FOOD! and we ask you not bring your dog as well as this can cause trouble. We are equipped with a bear banger, air horn and bear juice, but prefer not to use it.
Update for tonight will be after 6 PM MMc

Wow only a few hours and already it has clouded up! The forecast does look good for Saturday night. A final go/no go will be made in the early afternoon, say 3 PM Also the temperatures will be cooler so dress for winter recommended. MMc
