Many thanks to Paul our cook at the Crossroads for the very nice prime rib and all the fixin's dinner. I my self came hungry and inhaled it all! I did notice that some people did leave some behind, the cuts where indeed thick and juicy. Thanks, Brandi for the great service.
It has been a year since our beloved founder president passed on to the great gig in the sky. I would like to thank all of you for your support as i /we continue Paul's efforts to keep astronomy alive. We face some tough times with the light pollution problem, but even on that front i see some progress. The City of Abbotsford continues to support us out at McDonald Park, something Paul worked on, very dear to his heart.
Our sister society, Merritt Astronomical, is doing really well, and is in great shape to continue with the annual event held near Kentucky Lake. This 2019 event is already in the planning stages, and promises to be the best yet. Hope you can get out when the weather clears... Mark McL
