A good question my young friend. I will make sure it passed to those who can ask.

I would like to sarcastically thank a Bruce R.(Rocky) Blondin (AScT) for his role in shooting down the observatory. Granted,he did not do it alone. Others, who have also been involved in the Project Review Report as printed in the Mission Council Meetings,Nov. 2, also contributed to the demise of this project. It is His report, all ten pages, that i find most disturbing, to use a mild word. What does He think we where trying to achieve here? We were not trying to build a 30 meter scope, or Atacama Cosmology scope, or a European Extremely large telescope. Back story:these are all projects Rocky has worked on. All it was to be was a small volunteer run setup to get the Public out to see. Not some gazillion dollar behemoth. Ya sold out, pal.
I would also like to take this space and time to Apologize to Brian A., who i have directed a fair amount of criticism toward. I did it it because i knew deep down that my town fathers and city planners would not let this proceed. Miss one uncrossed "T" or one undotted "(i)" and you are out.
Rocky, I would like to meet you someday, just don't ask to look through my scope!

As i can't start a new thread it seems...... Thank You to those that have mailed in their dues. Mr. B.A. was the first one, so he gets the first view thru the scope next time i set up at the park. Not the Dark Park, but Mission Heritage Park! Right now Jupiter is awesome in the big 20" You can actually see the moons as disks, not just tiny points of light. Too awesome! MarkMc
