I am thinking of buying a storage 'shed' for my NextStar 8" SE . A " RubberMaid" type appears an attractive option as we have used a RM.storage bench for a couple of years and cushions etc. have remained dry and mildew free. I would be grateful for members opinions. Alan

As it happens my neighbor has a RM shed for his lawn tools. It has a peaked roof with vents on the gable ends.No window. My only concern would be the door, being plastic,is tough to lock securely. A couple of pieces of flat steel would do the trick. A nice place for storing your scope and a little hide out! MMc

Thanks Mark, Did reply earlier but I think it went into 'space'. Yes security is a big problem as all the'plastic' sheds seem difficult to attach security bars to them. Now considering the vinyl covered metal ones, a friend has had a. Black & Decker one for many yeas which he was able to reinforce and also never had 'dampness' issue. Alan

Hi , After months of research we found a Rubber Maid shed with the dimensions we wanted on sale at Rona's.. Have reinforced ' security' , a bolt fixture inside the doorand an eye bolt through the overlapping door edges which with supplied hasp enables the use of two padlocks. Thanks for the advice everyone. Alan
