In researching for a suitable shed for my new 'scope I saw the Telegizmos product line and wondered if anyone has one or any advice re these covers. Thanks, Clear Skies, Alan

I had one for many years. It eventually started to come apart. Due to the price ,i have been using a cheap tarp ever since. It did last through 12 Mt Kobau partys and four MSQs before the wind did its thing. Mice loved it! MMc

I am trying this for a third time in the hope I do it correctly. Mark, many thanks for your reply and info. The model I am looking into is their 365 T309 which apparently can be left outside 24/7 365. Noting that yours appeared to have done long service over 12yrs that period would take me to 92yrs. Hoping for clear skies, Ala n

I looked at your prospective cover and i noticed one factor mine did not have. Mine was for a dob, i think with tripod legs it would stand up better to to mice. Anything near the ground or is climbable the little rotters will chew. My engine hood cover got attacked last year. On a side note..i have found you need to click on the "post quick reply" button near the bottom left of the quick reply box.Not the "reply" button. You will have to start over if you hit that one.I have done that only to see my post disappear. MMc

Thanks Mark, I was using the reply upper right but still not certain where replies went but quick reply did. Re shed,we are not sure which way to go as none of the many sheds we have seen do not fit the place we wish to put it.May have construct one. Re cover, I have also been reconsidering this due the possible mice problem which do like to visit and eat what the birds reject. Alan

There's a chance they're not mice. The nocturnal vermin that are after my bird feeder are rats. I've caught four on my deck in the last 3 weeks. Rats can chew through any plastic. The things the cats bring to your doorstep are usually voles or shrews. Voles would probably leave things alone. Mice might build nests in dry quarters but prefer indoors?
Nice to hear you've hit 80 Alan, and still going strong. Good for you.
DSD.

Thanks Darrell, Yes at 80 it feels good when I can bend over to cut my toe nails...Ha Ha. I think I may postpone buying the Telegizmo cover as we have had problems with rats around our bird feeders and a few years had a BBQ cover destroyed by we presume rats. Have come across and interesting set up and will try to put info on this site..
